Cardiff Spinal Clinic The clinic is NHS and private medicine and is based in Cardiff, but covering the whole of south and west Wales. The Chief Consultant for the clinic is Mr. Alwyn Jones and he is also a full time spinal consultant at University Hospital of Wales and Llandough Hospital, Cardiff. He also has an NHS scoliosis (child spinal deformity) clinic at Phillip’s Parade, Swansea.

THE PROJECT
Cardiff Spinal Clinic are possibly Wales' premiere spinal specialists and spinal surgeons. Their expertise in resolving spinal and back issues is renowned throughout the country and spinal consultant Alwyn Jones covers patients with varying conditions of the spine from the top of the neck to the bottom of the spine (coccyx). He regularly treats patients with spinal disc degeneration of the neck and lower back, spinal trauma (injuries), spinal sports injuries, scoliosis (spinal deformity), spinal tumours and infections. The team at the clinic is committed to utilising modern methods of treatment and communication to keep up to date with technology in the twenty first century's medical field.
Cardiff Spinal Clinic already had a website for the business, however with changes in technology and medical trends it became essential to modernise the clinic's communication and infrastructure so Presto Solutions were approached to help with this undertaking. It was important to be able to maintain the position and reputation of the clinic, get more marketing recognition, stay above the competition as well as have a credible and aesthetically pleasing marketing tool. This would  be used to interact with existing and prospective customers. A well developed social media presence was also needed and accounts from Facebook, Instagram and twitter needed to be kept in tune with the site. The site would also benefit from basic and extended search engine optimisation to enable a well balanced internet presence.

A responsive ( mobile friendly and compatible ) website was first on the list of options considered for implementation.
Being able to detail clearly the Clinic's services via the website was important and also the ability to give reviews was required :
