The Live Lounge is Cardiff’s busiest and most vibrant live music venue. The Live Lounge also boast a high quality bar and restaurant as well as fantastic live cover music 7 days a week from midday until midnight with DJ’s banging out favourites until 4am. They only put on the best cover bands, duos and singers. All acts are carefully sourced and the full daily music program with details of who is playing can be found on the website as well as on the Live Lounge's social media avenues.
The Live Lounge is Cardiff’s busiest and most vibrant live music venue and has a wide clientele base ranging from students and young Professionals to a more mature audience. This meant that the Live Lounge needed an interactive medium that would emcompass a broad spectrum of viewers.The Live lounge is open 7 days a week from 11am until 4am with last entry at 2am. Entry is free except for Saturdays after midnight.
The Live Lounge's previous website had been outdated and was not equipped to handle modern technological demands including mobile phone interactivity. The Live lounge had also added a restaurant to it's services and a good marketing medium for this was necessary. The previous website had been more of a brochure site giving business contact details as opposed to being technologically up to date or interactive. A well developed social media presence was also needed and accounts from Facebook, Instagram and twitter needed to be kept in tune with the site. The site would also benefit from basic and extended search engine optimisation to enable a well balanced internet presence.
The Live Lounge needed a responsive ( mobile friendly and compatible ) website as it was also patronised by a younger audience who were in tune with the advantages of this.
It was also important to be able to interact with it's vibrant audience and one of the important options was through social media. It was also important to be able to make reservations and bookings from the website as this would enhance schedule fluidity for the restaurant. The following options below were important additions:

- Construction of web content to enable keyword approval and search engine acceptability
- Gallery and catalogue feature to enable capture of events and memories
- Search engine compatibility of the website
- Ability to allow customers make reservations and book tables from the website
