Prego Cardiff Prego is Cardiff’s exclusive new Italian Wine & Cocktail Bar where you can relax, enjoy and be entertained in style. An outstanding setting for relaxed drinks, antipasti, and meeting with friends, family and colleagues in the heart of Cardiff. The elegant décor, from the opulent marble bar to the exposed stone interior and the intimate lounge downstairs, makes visiting Prego a truly unique experience.
THE PROJECT
Prego is an exclusive new Italian Wine & Cocktail Bar in Cardiff that has it's own family run vineyard in Italy thereby allowing it to be the only excusive distributor of a brand of wine called "Sclavia Wine". In addition to this exquisite brand of wine Prego also has a variety of excellent cocktails and specials and with the experience from it's owners and staff can add somevery appetising cuisine to the mix.
With this very impressive resume it was important to make sure Prego's talents and experience were presented with an impact in Cardiff's entertainment setting.
It was also necessary to make sure that Prego was able to carve out it's special niche within the well established drinks industry of Cardiff and at the same time present it's expertise in cuisine within the evrgrowing cyber world. Starting off on this mission would be revamping the previous website Prego had and also enhancing it's social media presence. A more sophisticated website was required to incorporate these features and interact with existing and prospective customers. Developing Prego's social media presence included modernising content within accounts from Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Trip Advisor alongside professional advice on optimisation techniques within social media. The site would also benefit from basic and extended search engine optimisation to enable a well balanced internet presence. Coupled with this was Prego showing their supreme command in the culinary department by winning Episode 3 of Come Dine With Me The Professionals, the Channel 4 programme which showcased competing businesses highlighting their brand of cuisine.
PRESTO'S SOLUTION
A responsive ( mobile friendly and compatible ) website was first on the list of options considered to help Prego.
Being able to make reservations from the website was intrinsic to the changes being implemented and in line with good practice an avenue for giving reviews was required and showcasing the marvellous reviews that Prego was accumulating at a rapid pace:
- Dynamic database driven website
- Displaying clearly menus and specials of Prego Cardiff
- Construction of web content to enable keyword approval and search engine acceptability
- Search engine compatibility of the website
- Ability to allow customers make reservations from the website

Impressive reviews are now prevalent and the booking process has now been streamlined to help alleviate communication outlets like the telephone allowing a better customer relationship and more time for Prego to do what they do best.
